Before I get into the six ways that protein can make you sexier, you first need to understand to love your body no matter what.  We are all in the process and trying to find our way through life, so be kind always (yes, this means to yourself, too).

Whether you are here to make baby steps into being healthier, a bodybuilder, professional athlete, or somewhere in between, it’s important to love yourself (and others) every step of your journey.  It’s a confidence to learn about yourself and believe in, and that is one of the sexiest things about anyone.

*Ah-hem.  Confidence and not arrogance.  (Don’t get those two confused! One is sexy, and the other is just gross.). I like how Ashton Kutcher gave his inspired speech about what sexy means (watch here).

“The sexiest thing in the entire world is being really smart, being thoughtful, and being generous.  Everything else is crap, I promise you.  People try to sell to you, to make you feel less, but don’t buy it.  Be smart, be thoughtful, and be generous.”                                 – Ashton Kutcher at the Teen Choice Awards

6 Ways Protein Makes You Sexier!

1

Cooking it.

When you give yourself the boundaries and expectations of cooking with fresh foods, healthy fats, and lean meats, you become creative trying tasty and healthy recipes like Simple Chicken Kebabs! Eating healthier and high protein is a lot easier than you think.  All while getting sexier at the same time?  Sign. Me. Up.

2

Naturally melts fat.

A high protein diet is a natural thermogenic to melt off fat.  There is a reason that all the masterminds of fitness and bodybuilding world agree that to build lean muscle, sculpt, or to simply lose fat, takes about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.

3

Building that booty.

You work so hard but not seeing results.   Muscles are what give you shape, curve, and lines. Protein gives your body what it needs to build the booty you have been working so hard for!  Your muscles need that nutrition to literally build muscle and lose fat.

4

Protein makes you stronger mentally and physically.

Protein in combination with training hard, makes you dig deeper for the underlying qualities that are even more impressive rather than just a good physique.  It can help you become stronger, more dedicated, determined, more mentally tough,  develop more self-respect, and confidence.  What is not to love?

5

Protein cuts cravings.

Protein cuts down cravings for high fat and sugary foods because it increases the secretion of satiety hormones and improves glucose homeostasis.  When you are less likely to give in to cravings you feel good about yourself, thus giving you positive reinforcement to keep moving forward, gaining more and more self-control and will power each day.  Confidence is one of the sexiest things you can wear!

While it can be confusing of which protein powders to try, I know that I like Muscle Pharm and the flavors they have!  I even buy five gallons at a time to make sure I don’t run out!  Feel free to check out different sizes and flavors!

Baking Tip:  When it comes to baking with protein powders, you will get much better results using casein powders vs whey, since whey can have a rubber-like texture in the baking process.

    • Thank you Kelly! The shakes really help add nutrition to feed those muscles! They are great to use as snacks between meals, or to simply increase protein intake for the day. Great to hear from you and hope you are well too! Andy gets his knee surgery (again) upcoming Tuesday. Always great staying connected to you and Heather!
